(FINAL) ROM 3-24-10 Twisted Goodsense Two Sense 2.5 with landscape build 21895

I prefer this ROM the most so far. I have tried many others (roughly 5 or 6). I think what I like most about it is the fact that the customization to install HTC sense did not go through (it just rebooted, which I think it was not supposed to do), leaving just the default WinMo 6.5 UI. I prefer this as the phone is WAYYYY more responsive. I have tried Sense 2.1 & 2.5, but the standard slide menu is just better for usability imho. I also LOVE the fact that it has an X Button like application which other ROMS did not seem to have.

I would try other ROMs & just reboot before the customization started (i.e. none of the HTC Sense stuff or other apps), but because this has the XButton like application, I'm just going to stick with this build.

found a bug,
running this latest 2.5

was excellent for first few days,
then noticed it showing a number as if unread emails, but yet there are none, even after selecting all and mark as read it doesn't help,
then it happened with texts,

now...
if i go in the start menu..and for example scroll around....the blurrs/blends the icons together...
or after a fresh restart, go into start menu, select something like settings...then the next window it takes me to has the new icons and titles on top of the previous windows icons and titles


taking out battery to reset doesn't help either

i think it's fixed, was something to do with OggSync,
removed, and installed the new version of oggsync,
works

another glitch thats been bugging me...
in the threaded sms window, when replying....the cursor will flash for 2 seconds in the mesagging box, then stop (not allowing to type), then you have to select again

Yeah the whole theme thing is kicken my a$$ I don't know what is causing the whole start menu blurry issue.........It is not the taskbar Icons (thank god) I didn't want to get rid of them.
I decided to take a break from trying to solve that problem and the whole reorganizing thing...(I can not even begin to tell you how difficult this has been for me) I hate disorganization. But, I hate destroying what I have built even worse.
Good news is I have solved a bunch of issues with sense 2.5.......
Better SMS
Automatically defaults to Sense after flash
Album 3.2 with social networking..hopefully will help solve issues with background changes
Shouldn't need to install any fix cabs for fixes
Added automatic wallpaper changer (using it is optional)
Other things I will remember later.
And Sense 2.5 is very snappy!

Hate to be so vague guys, but I had a similar problem that bg407 had. I lost all my network settings after installing something. Im not sure what it was cuz I installed 10 apps all in a row without testing in between. I had to manually setup a new internet connection to get back online. Whatever happened, it also managed to change my background to default and delete my quick contacts. I didn't install any apps that dealt with customizing or dealing with the background in any way. I ended up just hard resetting. I will be installing all the apps again and seeing what happens. BTW, all the apps are ones that I have been using for ages now without any issues before, so it has something to do with v2 of the ROM. I'll let you guys know what I figure out.

I just wanted to pop in and give my 2 cents for what they are worth.

This ROM is fantastic, ever since I had my old Touch (Vogue) I have been with NFSFAN, every so often I flash another ROM and eventually go back. This is the first time I've ever felt comfortable using a different ROM as my day-to-day ROM. Its stable, fast, and best of all it's Sense 2.5!! And what's more you're selection of fixes, expansions, and apps is phenomenal. Not too much, but not too little and everything in it is good to have.

One app I would suggest for the audiophiles out there is Midomi, it's a pretty slick little music recognition program, worth a look for your multimedia folder .

I really have no complaints that haven't already been addressed (the general organization of the start menu... but I'm a bit OCD and even so that's not much of a drawback for me).

I had to call Sprint and re-create my Network Connection and now works perfectly. In case needed, the info I needed to input is: #777.
