Cool! I knew it was on there already didn't realize it was that easy! Which partition option do you select?

Right now I don't really need the space tho. I was hoping it would boost performance somehow

And flashing is SOOOOO much easier than on winmo. Its so easy I don't even think twice about flashing (after a backup of course)

Great job once again flipzmode. All the updates and the constant communication. Been busy, but just installed 0.6 and it worked great and immediately w/o any issues at the moment. Thanks again.

If you boot into the Recovery Image there is an option to Format your SD as FAT32 + EXT + Swap. It technically will not use the Swap but this is the option you need to set the SD Card up to allow the ROM to use Apps2SD.

First, do note that this will re-partition the card so you need to backup everything on the SD card before and restore it after.

Second, if you want to be extreme you can download SWAPPER from the Market and it will use that Swap Partition from above. I personally do NOT recommend this. I tried it for a short time without any issues but over time it will kill your SD card. Also, I personally didn't notice anything actually running faster instead it would just leave more in memory before automatically shutting it down.

Good ROM, im coming from madaco, one thing I miss is the ability to have a boot screen with no sound. Does anyone know the command to remove the boot sound?

That's not a "feature" so much as how modaco is setup. You can remove it by deleting the startup sound.

adb remount
adb shell
rm /system/media/bootscreen/freshboot.mp3
reboot

I wish I could take credit for that but it's part of the RA recovery image.

Super User is a program that helps control your SU (rooted) access. Java is just an updated version of the java platform.
