Well, Seems a factory data wipe after the flash solves the looping forced closing problems.

But, on both odex/deodex versions now, the speech to text for google and for texting is not picking up the microphone input. Need a fix here bad cause I can't text and drive, and I Luv my speak to query google stuff...

Go into your Voice input & output settings.

As has been mentioned many times, this ROM is based off a platform that does not have HDMI.

Hey OMJ, Did you pull MyBackup Root from this version? Easily downloaded from the Market but I could have sworn it along with Titanium Backup were previously installed in your version. Just wondering if I got a bad install and should be worried that other issues may pop up.

The think is that when I connected the hdmi to my tv the sound goes out sometimes and always I connect the phone gave the signal that the hdmi cable is connected. Can you explain that.

So far so good, but having trouble with really really short battery life. Not like the normal complaints but it runs out in like 30 mins on idle. Anyone else experiencing this? Tried restarting and taking out battery.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Nothing like that on any of our evos. Did you reboot and still have the drain? Battery use detail list something odd as high drain ?

Its more than likely a badly behaving app than the rom.

thanks for the reply. its a little better now that i restarted by taking the battery out. Also, im letting it drain to zero then charging it full now. i checked to see what apps are running and changed them all to manual sync. i checked in the battery app and it said that my display has been using the battery the most (70-85%). I changed all my display settings and now i'm getting about 9 hours of battery life on idle. The only thing i have turned on is the mobile network and I'm barely using it. is this normal?

yes, MyBackup Root was included in 2.0

afraid that bug will be around for a little while as it's not a bug particular to this rom... even the OTA suffers from this one.
