Re: OMJ's HTC EVO 2.3.3 Custom ROM v5.0 | GingerBread 4.12.651.1 | *Updated 4/15/11*

Just flashed your Rom. How do I get into Bootloader or Recovery? tried all normal means. Not offered in Shut-down menu. When Shut-Down, the Vol down and Pwr justs restarts!! What gives?

The quick restart is from a new feature in gb hibernation mode the only way right now to power down fully is take your battery out them go into bootloder mode

Or you can go into your settings and uncheck fastboot and it will shut down like it did before.

Anyone else using this ROM have Nitrodesk Touchdown or Firefox installed? I have both and both are having issues. Nitrodesk will not update, I get a message that says "Too many timeouts in one minute," although my connection to the Internet is fine when using the default browser. For Firefox, it crashes whenever i give it a site to go to.

Anyone else having this problem?

quick question, how big is the omj gb rom? my download was aborting time after time, but finally completed and it's only 10MB. when i tried to flash it, it didn't work. not sure if it has anything to do with going from clockwork mod 2.5.x.x to 3.0.x.x (the last omj rom i flashed was 4.4). thanks for any help.

186mb, your 10mb is way off. Good thing it just failed to flash and didn't brick your EVO.
