Re: [6-1-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [1.0][2.3.3 Stable][1.2t][2.3.4 Beta]

Need some help. For quite some time my battery hasn't been lasting as long as it should. I've noticed using spare parts that my sensor usage is extremely high (seems to be running almost 100% of the time) . The culprit is "android system" but i don't know why....

I am using locale to monitor applications and turn auto rotation on when I open a browser, but otherwise auto rotation is turned off using Locale's default profile.

I've tried a few different kernels butthat doesn't seem to be it. I am running 1.0. Any ideas?

DECK, will the RC's be rolling out next? I haven't had any problems with t release besides wake/brightness issue. Im thinking about making this my base, I got 40hours on battery.

I just didn't try the official 1.0. I just went back to what I knew worked for me already.

Sometimes the cm7 camera has done that to me in the past. I think what I did was do the fix apk mismatches thing in amon recovery.

UnRevoked is just fine. All they are doing is running a script through an executable. It simply saves you the trouble of going through ADB. At the end, you end up at the same place. You are Rooted, Permissions are upgraded, S-Off and BusyBox command interpreter installed.

Some old times think that "you have to pay your dues" by rooting the old way. There is something to be said about that since it does make you learn your phone. But you can root with Unrevoked and learn anyhow.

I have to disagree with that , I used unrevoked and learned plenty from all the reading I did before hand . Also ripping roms apart on the computer and theming some here and there . Now if I can nail down the scripting and so forth id be in heaven LOL

Upgraded to 1.2V this morning. I'm still having the dark screen when hitting the power button. I've learned that I can still slid my finger and it will wake up. It's been doing that for quite a while on these versions.

I also still get the voice mail indicator, without a message waiting for me.

Upgraded to V this morning as well, i'm not getting the screen wake lock issue, which is great, just there's no 'screen on' animation anymore. Which I can live without.

What screen on animation, I thought the tv animation was only for turning off the screen?
