Any feedback on 1.2b? MMS? 4g? I assume everything is working or else deck would have said something. I am using my cell to tether so I can't update yet.
Sure it all works but as you know best way yo know is flash it yourself like I am about too. Let ya know later if you have not found out already.

On 1.2- looking good so far, no issues other than the not restoring apps thing from the 5/4 gapps. I'll logcat and submit anything funky if it comes up.

1.2 is good so far. Only thing I noticed is 4G turns on automatically on reboot...

Re: [5-13-11][ROM] gingerbread-evo-deck [1.0][2.3.3 Stable][1.2b][2.3.4 Beta]

Can I flash 1.2b right over the top of what I have now and then do a full system data and app restore via titanium Backup? I'd like to not lose my home screens, notification settings, etc.

Thanks in advance - downloading now (very slowly for some reason)

I was hoping that one would get fixed. Not a deal breaker, by any means, but it is an annoyance.

Out of curiosity, did you wipe and flash fresh, or flash 1.2b over 1.1? Maybe it gets fixed if you wipe? I haven't flashed 1.2b yet because I need my phone this morning. I'm going to try it this afternoon.

Thanks for all your hard work, deck!

I did a totally clean install, wiped everything 3 times and I have no issues. I rebooted several times and 4G does not come on automatically. I'm using 1.2b with Tiamat 3.3.7 SBC.

I think this is the most asked question on here but you're always better off to do a full wipe and do a fresh install of any Rom! Good luck!

Agreed. But a lot of us that came from the CM world kind of got used to flashing the nightlies over the existing installed ROM. It can be a hard habit to break. I think by now most people know you're *supposed* to wipe, but we like to know what we can get away with.

Thanks for the reminder, though...

You can get away with whatever works, the problem is when one doesn't wipe and then complain about problems. Kinda like wiping your a$$, if you don't, things could get messy.

What is the worse that could happen if you don't wipe and things aren't working properly? Answer: Do a wipe. then check problem and report if needed.
