I know about that thread. I think you got my post confused. I dont want to change the flash part that says "HTC...." when turning the phone. I'm talking about the bootup part(after it says HTC when you press the power button) So in all together I want the flash part to still say HTC...." then after that I want it to say "droid/Droid image" AND Sprint 4g Evo animation with sound.

Anyone know how to glue both of these animations together with the audio lined up right for both animations?

You il need to create a custom boot animation using gif animator or similar software and install it yourself. there are custom deodexed roms that allow you to use your own startup animations and sound. Do some searching and you will find what you are looking for.

FPS is already unlocked because this rom is based off the new htc update 3.30. however the mms file size increase can be done by visiting Calkulin's tweak thread here... Google is your friend! use it!

guy i been having a problem lately hope ya can help, when i turn on the wifi hotspot and my phone turns the screen off i loose connection, can it be because i turned off always on on the network settings?

EDIT: yea it seem that it was because i turn it off that my connection was disconnecting.

Hey guys, just wondering if any of you have run into this: when long pressing the "search magnifying glass" on the EVO's touch keys, you get the voice search box and can say "send text" to do so. The box to send the text does come up but if you click the mic at the bottom right of the "send text" box, an error pops up and the box force closes. same if you're trying to use voice to select a recipient. When using voice to text, in the "messages" app, no issues, only when using voice to initiate the text.

Any suggestions?

Update on my end: Doesn't seem to be with just the command "send text"; appears to be with any command, i.e. "send email"....once the diaglog box comes up, when you hit the mic button, it force closes. just wanna see if anyone else at all gets this, before i try and wipe and re-install the ROM.

I'm getting the same error, initiating with voice search causes the problem, but if I open the app normally and then use the voice to text feature no problems. I never use voice command so I hadn't noticed this before.

Same here....opening the messaging app normally then using voice to text works fine...

I only noticed after accidentally, having my thumb on the magnifying glass button, and then the voice search option popped up, so I was like, "cool!" But alas, upon playing with it got the error.....

Anyone else?
