this thread is for NEW KERNELS that are SUPPOSED to improve batter life. WHICH one do I want to run on SPRINT LOVERS? also do I need a HAVS or NON-HAVS kernel? I want to use one of those KERNELS what allows trickle charging so that I can keep the phone plugged in while in the car and also in the office.

I see things abut not using the phone while plugged in using this kernel...

My theme always has been and most likely always will continue to be based on a stock-like appearance.

I always always always recommend wiping out everything prior to installing any new rom version, especially the new 3.70 release as it is based on an entirely new framework. You can always do a nandroid backup to save your data, and then try intalling the all-in-one version which will automatically overwrite any pre-existing rom material.

OK so I flashed one of the NEW kernels for increased battery life.. NOW SWYPE says it has EXPIRED. Can someone point me to a working ONE that doesnt expire and has the microphone etc? I was using one of the latest ones on the SPRINT LOVERS ROM but I guess a different kernel made it expire. THANKS!

Looks like the ANDROID BETA is NO MORE.. I signed up to get a working copy and it tells me I can get it in the latest OTA.. Of course I dont want the latest OTA. so does anyone have a working swipe from the latest ota I can install??

I did a fresh install. Could it be because I installed a different kernel? I just don't understand how the swype keyboard ties in with it.

OK so I found the latest OTA DEOXED and tried to install the SWYPE from it. I get a FORCE CLOSE.. WHAT is going on? how do I get a working copy of the latest swype with the microphone? HELP! I had one working that CAME with the this ROM but when I installed another KERNEL is broke swype.. HELP!

I never changed anything, mine just stopped working. I noticed I had the new Android market after swype stopped working, so it may be related to that update. I never installed the new market either, it was just there today. Yesterday I had a perfectly working swype (that came with the ROM) and the old Android market. Today my swype stopped working, and I noticed I now have the new Android market.

I've had the latest android market. My swype just stopped working out of the blue. I flashed a different kernel the same day I installed the rom, nearly a week ago. This rom was a fresh install with all wipes performed prior to flashing. I just have no idea whats going on.
