did you download the update file? if so you need to use the system update in recovery.. the PC36 is only for flashing new roms (or the sprint lovers full rom as apposed to the update) and it will erase your phone. the update does not..

There has always been 2 ways to update from Chris, PC36IMG and the standalone. You must have downloaded the stand alone, to install it enter recovery and select install .zip from SD card and select your file and install. Download the PC36IMG and install from bootloader is the other method.

Was this with the LATEST WIFI TETHER PROGRAM? I downloaded the newest version last night but havent tested it yet.

EDIT: I downloaded the latest update to the wifi tether last night. Tpdfay I have been testing it since 10AM . its now 11:10 and it HASNT disconnected yet! I did find a web site that said to change the channel to 1 and it would fix the dropping issue.. I did that as well.

Yes the file I attached for you last night was the latest version if Wireless Tether (pre11) which I reworked and named wi-fi hotspot

I downloaded the all in one and renamed it to PC36IMG and tried to load but it would not do the update. I do it everytime there is an update but this time it didnt work. Is the link the wrong file or am i doing something wrong

I THOUGHT that haing pc36img.zip on the SD card is for installing the full version and it ERASES the phone??

Guys bear with me for a few minutes. I am reuploading both versions and both have the new Wi-Fi Hotspot (pre11) built in. I did notice that the all-in-one version was not named PC36IMG.zip from the download site. Could have been an error on my part :? Sorry about that guys! Check back in a few!

Hello. Can someone help me with something right quick.

Before rooting my phone, the android USB files that has to be installed under device manager. First I would have to put the phone in recovery mode and select hboot and then plug my usb cord into my computer and then update my driver in device manager using the location i stored the android USB files. Then I run revoked3

and another question. Is it possible to have 2 boot animations? like have the regular sprint bootup screen AND the nonsense DroidX "Droid" boot up screen with the MP3 file too??????

thank you for verifying that download. i was confuse on what and how to update it on my phone lol. but it's all good though stuff happens ya know? i'm going to try updating it again. as always keep up the good work. i've been a fan of your work since the touch pro 2.
