Ya i mean i did a OTA before i ever rooted and installed OMJ's rom.

I did disable nand protection and upon recovering my OMJ rom i was on 1.36

But now im on 1.39... however the steps didnt really flow the same way as you had them before, i assume because im fully rooted now.

after updating it took me to the recovery menu where it said

Formatting Cache ....

I had to manually restart via recovery, then i checked my radio and it was on the newest one,

The old radio seemed to appear after fully rooting my phone via "Toast's Part 2". No worries, I still had the new radio zip file on my SD card, and it was a breeze to install since I didn't need to plug in and execute a batch file.
