ha, guess you got that EVO you were trying to get. Saw your story on explainthefee.com. Or maybe that was just to get Sprint's attention and you were going to get the EVO no matter what haha.

So is everyone saying battery is better with this radio? I have this already on stock because of the OTA update i'm guessing...

I was able to flash to this radio with the unrevoked root, it worked for me but do so at your own risk!

OMJ clearly said to use Toast root proccess.

Not noticing much different in terms of signal strength. But then I followed OMJ over from an HTC Diamond which seems to have had much worse coverage in sketchy areas than the Evo does.

After booting into bootloader and choosing recovery, it just boots to a screen with an exclamation point in a red triangle... Am I missing something?

Scratch that... Evo-recovery tools was needed... I am figuring this stuff out each issue at a time...

can this be flashed with the Rom app? just place zip on the sd card and hit flash from sd card on the app?

Yeah I flashed this radio a few days ago and between this radio and the overclock widget settings that I read about in another post, my battery can now last the whole day without recharging and that's with moderate phone and internet use as well... much improved over the stock Evo that was driving me insane with battery life... (or the lack thereof)
