peep, stocks, news&weather(google, not the htc widget), youtube, titanium backup, footprints, friendstream (or at least have the ability to uninstall them on our own)

I use TB as it is much faster than My Backup Root,
I always remove stocks, news and footprints as well,
I have heard that removing friendstream messes with FB syncing but not 100% sure on that,
Never used parlingo or peep either,

Seems that all the sprint stuff is hit and miss for different ppl, such as I like the Sprint Navigaion but others just use G Maps (I do too sometimes) so my take is remove everything you can that doesn't mess with anything and put it in the removed app folder to make the rom as clean as possible. Then ppl can flash, add the stuff they want and then run a Nand

Edit: Oh, are you updating to the ENG loc only base? ... this is the one I was referring to ...

I like the Idea of taking away everything but leaving the file of APK's so we can customize.

I do, however, really like haveing Titanium included in the ROM so I don't have to download it to restore my apps and data. It's one less step.

Thanks OMJ for your work. Did you figure out the battery issue?

I am going to trim abit but not gonna remove too much.....some stock apps are integrated tightly w/ sense & will eff things up if removed....

Looking forward to this new release! Ready to get my feet wet with a OMJ Rom this weekend! Regarding removing apps, i tend not to fully remove ANYTHING, just freeze the apps/widgets I don't care for using TB... it just disables and removes them from the app drawer... much safer IMO

True. I have frozen/removed things before only to see the system lag or batty drain. Funny how things are so interconnected.
