Just as a side note... I had noticed in the last few roms OMJ has been "pre-checking" this opting in the build so until fixed it isn't hurting our battery

I have to say, this ROM is by far the best i have seen for my exact feel of how i want. Did take a little work this time around (full wipe/reinstalls) but Superfast and even getting used to the screen redraws...
GPS works, basically everything works on it except Hulu (but i don't use that anyway) Battery life, well its still and EVO... Day 1 EVO, using original HW 002, original root from the engineering version. Way to go OMJ ! This version rocks !!! i may stay static on this one for a while... (hmmm nahh)

Re: OMJ's HTC EVO 2.2 Custom ROM v4.3 | FroYo 3.70.651.1 | *Updated 12/28/10*
I will like to say this maybe it will point alot of people in th eright direction. This Rom is an engineered build,; what that means is the entire system has been taken apart and rebuild file by file to ensure the best performance so any intruduction of previous system bins will revert the hard work and it will be back to square one, so my suggestion will to use CAlk's format zip first then wipe all (twice) then load Rom allow it to update then there you go you should have a very fast system will no issues...

yeah I did all the required wiping and I get the fc issue. I can get into menu/settings/wireless&Networks but when I click on "Mobile Networks: Set options for roaming, networks" it force closes.
My navigation wont get passed "Checking Navigation availability" And of course Riptide theme causes even more problems, but I can live without it for a while Other than that, everything is good and fast

Hey OMJ,
Awesome work bro! You made a comment about Riptide9, my takeaway was that it can cause some issues with your rom. If using Riptide9 can I expect to see some slow downs in performance? |
