I was trying to flash the fix for the droidx kb but for some reason i can't boot into recovery it keeps on taking me to bootloader. last thing i did was update pri to 1.4 and loaded rom v3.0.

I just downloaded the flashable version i think that i found it on the 2nd or 3rd page then renamed as an .apk version removing the .zip then sent to my email and saved on my sd card then just installed like a regular app and, thats it try

Keep at it. Also try it from different parts of your area, ie while driving around town (well not LITERALLY while driving )

WHAT is taking you to bootloader? How are you trying to get to Recovery?

the big problem now is that i can't get into recovery now try doing it thru quick boot and everytime i click on recovery, it takes me to fastboot menu

I tried rom manager and holding the volume down+power button method neither load my recovery menu

So what happens when you do it manually, get to bootloader and select Recovery? Red Triangle of Doom?
If so then somehow you lost your recovery image.
If you use ROM manager just try to reflash it from there.

no triangle, nothing, when i select recovery just takes me back to the fastboot menu

Problem/solution *should* still be the same. Try reflashing the recovery from clockwork. Use clockwork recovery or if you want amon RA then flash clockwork, go back to ROM Manager and select alternate recovery from the bottom of the menu.
