WOW... I hadn't been back to the thread in a while.. I'm like 100 pages behind...
Hopefully everyone is doing real good... OMJ is back and as I can see has 2 versions out already... I'm on v3.2 as of 2 days ago and the Battery is AWESOME... I do have a present problem though... I have an App which is STUCK in Download Mode through the Market. I've cleared the cache, dalvik cache, I even downloaded an app called cache cleaner. NOTHING.. the freaking thing is there trying to download (Drop Box is the app by the way).. When I try and download drop box again the window pops up and shows the download in progress. But nothing is happening. I try to stop the download and I get a FORCE CLOSED with the error (process com.android.vending) and I have to FC. I would like to clean that up before I do the v3.3 update.. ANY Ideas or suggestions... I found the location of the folder but I'm not sure I can delete all the cache files within it.. /data/data/com.android.vending/ Within this directory there are various others: /app_sslcache /cache /databases /lib /shared_prefs I'm guessing I can delete the content within /cache But I want to make sure that won't delete ALL MY DOWNLOAD CONTENT listed on the Market? Any ideas/suggestions/solutions.. |

Welcome Back Rich-you came back with a bang
Did you try clearing the data on just the Market? Menu/Settings/Applications/Manage Applications find the Market and clear the data. It wont erase your apps.

Wuuuzzzzzuuuppp... I knew you'd be around.. =D> Quick question, if I clear the data will it delete my market download history? or will it sink again once I log back into the market? Thank again for your quick response... BTW: How is v3.3 running.. I'm sure you flashed it already.. EDIT: IT WORKED.... Thanks.. Damn, I'm rusty... I can't believe I didn't try that first... Work is eating my brain cells..... Gonna have to increase the wine consumption and start relaxing more... Last edited by richarc93; 09-23-2010 at 10:04 PM. |

I just did it. You may lose any updates you did but the Market can "see" the apps on your device and that's how they are not lost compleely. I just did it to make sure Back everything up in Titanium, etc just in case. 3.3 is great and we are waiting for 3.X which OMJ is working on. EDIT: Glad it worked |
