I'd like to know whether wifi tether or usb tether working with OMJ rom, after I flashed the rom, my wifi tether and usb tethering are not working. When I do usb tethering, it says "error code 67", any idea? Wifi tethering cannot see any green signal, it stuck at about 4kbs. Please advise.

You have to flash Netarchys kernal to get wifi tether to work.


And by the way Netarchys 4.0 dirty kernal is absolute 100% win. Everything works again, HDMI, Camera settings, Google Goggles

I did flash Netarchys 4.0 but wifi tethering is still not working, what wifi version do you use? I even used wifi 2.0.5 pre8, still does not do. Thanks

I just got a replacement phone from Sprint. What can I do to make the OMJ rom look like non-rooted so I can return it to them. I know there is no way to remove the root, but I don't want to catch a bunch of crap from them.

I have 2.0.5. pre 7 and it works just fine. However if you want pre8 to work go back to recovery and wipe cache and davlik again like you did before flashing the kernal it should work after that.

Well you don't HAVE to. Wireless tether pre7 works on the stock kernel.

netarchy is still working on the kernel, 4.0 is just to "get it out there" more versions pending as he hasnt worked on UC/OC.

Sprint is blocking USB tethering unless you pay for the hotspot.
If you want wired tethering then grab PDAnet from the Market.

EDIT: DAMN! He's quick, 4.0.1 is out, allows underclocking down to 128mhz with Setcpu.

My fault, wifi tethering is working now. I think I encryp the wifi with password and it could not see the signal and after I deleted the wifi encryp, it works, Thank a lot

The Pandora issue is a problem with Froyo. Google has it on their to fix list. The kernel has nothing to do with it.

You might check the Market as I saw an update for Pandora today.
