I can't update my Profile or PRL, the screen just goes black or the phone reboots. Also the phone will get super sluggish.

I tried redownloading and reflashing, but to no avail. Each time I do I wipe Data, Cache, and Dalvik like a good boy does.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
odd, maybe an issue w/ the sd card.....you could try to back everything up , format, then copy only the rom.....also try using calkulins format all zip b4 flashing
Attached Files
File Type: zip Calkulin's_FORMAT_ALL.zip (2.1 KB, 4 views) Click for barcode!

thanks for the tips guys. I did a bump charge this morning and ran the battery calibration app when it got up to 100%. I"ll see if this helps. I'm gonna stick to the stock kernel for now.

So, after much reading and experimentation I have discovered and fixed my phone's problem.

Turns out it wasn't the SD. Titanium had been restoring curropted system files which was causing me to have MMS, PRL update, and Profile update failures.

After doing a clean install and restoring only the app data the problem was fixed.

How the files got corrupted is up for debate. Some say it was titanium the did it, but I am also curious if I did it by trying to restore in 4.5 a backup I made in 5.0.

Anyway, that is my report.

How's it going OMJ. I'm just wondering how to update my Kernel Verizon to the most recent one.

I do like MyBackup. It packs up your programs as APK files so you can reinstall them along with the data, selectively. Excellent application for any Android.

I'm still using 4.6 and it's dependable. I just wish I could change the clock to the Minimal type. I find that easier to read.

Re: OMJ's HTC EVO 2.2 Custom ROM v4.6 | FroYo 3.70.651.1 | *Updated 3/29/11*

Hello OMJ and fellow evo users. Lately ive noticed my battery dying really quick.. I take my phone off charge at 7:30am, then at about 9:30am im down to about 60% or mid 50s. The phone completely dies at around 1:00pm. Why is that? Before it used to last me atleast 5pm. Im running the same apps (Trillian, Whatsapp, LiveProfile) and sync (weather & email) settings that i have been ever since i got the phone. BTW, im also using SetCPU. With all these settings and programs listed above, i was able to get atleast 10 hours. Sometimes i got 12 or 13 hours. I will do a "clear battery cache" and see if that helps...any other reason for such a decrease? I love your rom btw! Great work!!
