the might be an issue with the new prl, when the phone roams from having no service in an office etc, your calls are being directed to verizon switch board

I just tested it and my calls are going through.
Updated to 06670 PRL
Simulated Roaming by flashing a VZW PRL.
Made two calls both went through not problem.

You said PRL, did you meant PRI?
And what exactly do you mean by Verizon switch board? You are being connected to an operator?

I ask because there is an issue for some after updating to the 1.40 PRI-roaming calls wont go through. You have to call Sprint, tell them you cant call while roaming and have them make adjustments on their end. btww-you need Tier 2 support for this.
Could that be the issue for you?

yeah sorry I meant "PRI", and yes just tried it again and the calls are not going out

Tier 2 is just a higher level. I was able to get the fix from a Tier 1.

Wow. Congrats. My experience with Tier 1 leaves me with this mental image:

Just call Sprint and tell them you cant make calls while roaming after getting a PRI update-they dont need to know HOW you got the update ;)
If the inital tech cant help you then request Advanced Support-they should transfer you there themselves if they cant help.

yes I did that but who ever was doing it, leaves me to question Sprint's training program, Cause my phone could not make calls for about 2 hours, would not even program.......wow

it was weird. i told the lady what the problem was and i need a tier 2. she said that even though she wasn't a tier 2, she could take care of the problem quite easily. so she sent some data to my phone. the next thing i know it was working perfectly. i was in total shock that she knew wth was going on. the whole call lasted about 15 minutes including a few minute wait to get to her.
