Has anyone running themes have problems with restoring their nanbackup? I installed one of riptides themes yesterday and I cannot restore my backup with the them on it. I can restore my backup from yesterday before I put the theme on. What could be holding this up? This worries me because I don't mind losing one day's worth of stuff but If I can't restore a themed backup then a nanbackup with a theme is worthless. Ughhh!

I did a nand backup before doing the pri fix and when I tried to restore I got an error MD5 checksum not found. I had to restore to an earlier backup. I did have his theme installed whenever I backed up as well.

Interesting. I never did get errors, it would just get stuck on the 4G screen or keep looping Sprint and 4G. I tried with two themed backups today.

I guess I can always use my pre-themed backup as an emergency and then do a titanium backup and go the old fashioned way. I would have to do this with a new rom anyway.

After I did the pri update, I put my nandroid backup back on the phone, then went and flashed the deodexed ROM, then the theme. I never wiped data/factory after I put the nandroid backup on, only cache and davlik, no problems as of yet. ***fingers crossed***

Call Sprint and tell them you are selling the phone and need to do a factory reset. Tell them you did the ##786# and its asking for a code.

I am trying to follow OMJ's instructions and I can not find out how to reboot into recovery mode after entering my MSL number. The phone automaticlly reboots and does the sprint activation on its own. I am unable to get to recovery mode to wipe the phone.

what am I doing wrong?

thanks...tannerj

never mind it finally worked I am not on 1.40 prl now...

It's a separate deal. The OMJ rom with the screenshot was with OMJ "fixing" his PRI before the rom. No rom will include a pri update.
