Riptide. Any theme that worked on the last ROM should work on this one. ie. Froyoized themes.

Tells me if I'm doing this wrong. So everytime you flash a new rom you'll have to go to Titanium backup and restore your back up to get all your apps back. This process takes me over 20 minutes to do it. It seems like a nuisance. It's bc even though I'm running a batch update I still have to click Install then Done over 100 times. Man it really sucks.

I know you are trying the data.img swap but I've been told the paid version of TiBackup is more automated so you dont have to allow each restore.

Mine are in the 140MB range. Like OMJ said you may need to clean things up a bit. Do you have a ton of SMS that you are trying to backup/restore?

I've had the ROM to both ends of the extreme with no ill effects 128 on the low end and 1.15 on the high end.

No issues here. Are you wiping prior to restore, as if you are flashing a ROM?

The ROM should not have any bearing on the update. As this thread has shown it can take A LOT of attempts and people have come at it from all different ROMs. TRE's idea of restoring a older version can't hurt though. |
