Re: OMJ's | HTC Sense / Manila 2.5 | WM 6.5 / WM 6.5.x | 21870 / 23504 / 28002 | 11/2

Well I'm still getting the low Storage Memory message pretty often even after making sure that there is nothing running in the task manager and deleting files from the device memory. Even after a soft reset, I got the message while Sense was loading up. Any other tricks or tweaks I can try to resolve the issue? Other than the memory problem this is the best ROM I've ever used!

Make sure you dont have any ringtones on your device, save them all in internal storage. If you have really cleaned it up, then I would reflash. After I flashed 28002 I had like 30 megs left, and I used about 10 megs installing ezinput 1.5 and a couple of other tweaks. It def. takes up your device storage, but that's the nature of the beast. After flashing it you should not be getting that error though, because it does leave some space to work with.

Yeah I might have to reflash then. Out of curiosity, are you running Opera 10 or 9.7? Also, how much total storage memory does your device show? Mine only shows 63.67MB total.

I Just reflashed to stock then to 21870 because I realized that I still hate 23xxx builds. I don't think he included opera 10 in his 6.5 ROM.

I'm not sure wehre you're looking at your space. When I went to "device information" it says 62MB, but when I got to isntall something on the device it says I have 40MB on my device free, and I KNOW the rom is more than 20MBs, so I would flash back to stock and then flash OMJ Sense again. Even if you flash 28002 with opera 10 you should have AT LEAST 30MB on your device to play with, because I JUST flashed 6.5 and I have 40MB free no matter what "device information" says. It actually has 40MB free.

btw OMJ (or someone who knows)

first of all, I konw you been gettin nothing but "thanks, great rom" but its true, it really is appreciated.

Second. Is there a way to add a "games" folder shortcut to the programs under the clock since I only get 6 and on the old tf3d roms there was a way to add a games shortcut where it just opened the folder.

Third.the animted wallpaper on my today home doesnt work half the time, is there something special that toggles it or a way for it to show the weather animation every time I'm in the home tab?

You need a third party app. I suggest Smartlock 1.7E. You can find it over at XDA.

are you talking about the windows lock screen or s2u2?

if you mean the regular 6.5 lockscreen then download this program (version E) and soft reset, then go to settings>system>lockscreen and you can set the prefs from there.

enatives suite, is that showcase?
Yes I meant Showcase E-natives suite by amarullz. I've posted what I use in Calks thread : http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...ostcount=11102 .

Take a look at the first file posted there (Applications - e-Natives Showcase Suite 1.1.0.zip). As previously stated, what I've done is remove the all the ways of opening the enatives suite task manager component as this is what cause our devices to freeze (i.e removed icons in start menu and changed the hold start menu binding).

This reg entry :
"SUITE_TaskManager_Path"="\\Windows\\taskmgr.e xe"
Allows you to bind the start button to any app you want, I've just chosen the default task manager.

The result is a functional X button close, no freezing at all, and an easily accessible task manager.
