which view do you use when going to gmail? and which browser? when I try to access a mobile gmail page I get nothing but blocks, so only way I can do online gmail is full screen, which can be a pain, and take forever to load when you are stuck in a 1x area lol

I use Opera Mini, and it's very quick loading Gmail, even in 1x. I prefer html, mobile view is almost instantaneous.

Apologies if this has been asked recently. I want a ROM that is fast, stable, and non-glitchy for normal use (phone, sms, browsing). Not too concerned with eye candy, and I'm allergic to UIs where there are random pauses or sluggish response.

Does this ROM fit this profile? Any particular version I should use?

If not, any other recommendations?

I think I tried this ROM a few months ago but the interface was slow compared to older ROMs I've used. Since it seems to be updated pretty frequently, maybe that's fixed now?

I don't think any Sense 2.5 ROM is going to work for you, all Sense UI 2.5 ROMs are slower than the old ones. You should probably go for a Sense 2.1 ROM.

However, if you do decide to go Sense 2.5, this is the best I've ever used.

I used to stick to OMJ's sense 2.1 rom because the first couple of 2.5 rom's were slow and glitchy for me, 2.1 was always responsive. However, I tried a 2.5 of OMJ's about a month ago and I think it's as stable and responsive as any other ROM I've tried. I don't notice a difference between 2.1 and 2.5 anymore.

You can easily try both... I'd suggest the sense 2.1 w 23544 and, if you are up for trying sense 2.5, I'd recommend the version w 23557 sys (w/o Co0kie mod).

Is it me only? but every time I run the co0kie CHTeditor, and use exit from the menu, I get a screen with half blank, I could not do the ShutX to restart, but only the reset button under back cover. I have a hard case, and reset button is hard to reach, anybody know why?

BTW, is our dear OMJ back? I saw the kitchen for 23544, but not for 23569. Where can I find the 23569 sys files?
In the start menu, there's a folder Phone codes, and what are those for? I run one, and had to reset the phone

It's not just you ... that has happened to me. Usually it doesn't happen the first time I use the program after a flash. But, subsequent use often brings up the half blank or quarter blank screen. Fortunately, I have a reset link on my home screen, so it's easy to get to. So far, it's the only bug I have noticed ... great program!
