Choose weather wallpaper and then pick your wallpaper. If you choose animated or still (or whatever it's called), you won't have weather on your homescreen.

weather wallpaper is default. to switch to a animated wallpaper, from the home tab, menu/home wallpaper/animated wallpaper, there are only 3 to choose from, the middle one is the winter one.

its kind of a PITA to switch back, 1st, from the home tab, menu/home wallpaper/weather wallpaper/ and u have to choose a image

to get the default background image u then have to go to HKCU\software\htc\manila, open homebackgroundpath, delete contents

wow that does look nice, pretty much what its starting to look like outside, that snow is coming down fast!

OMJ, what are the odds (and I am hesitant to ask this because of how much insane amount of work you already put in to your kitchen and roms) of getting a 21882 sense2.5? it would be your ultimate ROM in the ultimate build.

I did the reg edit, and the wallpaper is back to default, but the weather is not snowing on my home screen any more, and I can't seem to get the weather back on my home tab.

the odds are good! lol, I was already in the process of building one until I discovered the SYS I grabbed was QVGA, lol

even though it may be snowing, are you getting animated weather for what the phone thinks the weather is?

I had followed the same steps I listed, went from winter wallpaper back to weather, and I'm again seeing the rain

not sure, I didnt mees w/ 28005 much because the whole bubblebreaker issue causing trouble. I could give it another try....actually, I'm gonna cook one now

no there's no animated weather at all, but it animates in the weather panel, just not in home, nothing happens in home tab.

But it's moot, if you're going to put up a 21882 any time soon I'm going to be flashing that as soon as it comes up

My animated snow weather (NOT the animated winter) is working just fine after switching back and forth. Not sure whats up with that orange.

lol, is this your first snow experience. It's cool at first, but if you live in the North East it gets old really fast. Enjoy, because in Texas it will not last long!
