Why does my phone lie to me?

Flashed stock then the new build (21864) and I am not getting past this point. Flashed stock, then energyRom again (October 22 release) and more of the same. Anyone having any success with the new releases?

Successfully gotten past that on my CDMA Sprint Diamond after installing EnergyROM_23071_VICTOR_22.Oct.2009_01.41_Standard.

Is it going to be tough for you to recover without being able to boot the OS to a point you can connect it to your computer?

I always keep a copy of my stock (bell in my case) rom in the root of internal storage (DIAMIMG.nbh) in case of just this. Then when your phone is fubar you just pull out the battery and back in - then press (power+volumedown + hangup) at the same time to load the rom stored on your internal storage...

so has anyone successfully added any new themes to energyrom? any help would be appreciated i tried touchflow config.... the prog doesnt work on this rom... i see nrgz themes in the windows files but theyre not .theme files theyre .tsk im sure theres something im missing....... grrrrrr


another question whats the difference between the three standard oct. 22nd versions? i have the 23071 version but i want to know what the other ones are.... sorry bout the questions im new to this whole flashing thing lol

There are 2 releases for 10-22
23071 and 21864
23071 is 6.5.1 and
21864 is 6.5

According to his twitter: "A whole lot of VGA ROMs are uploading. 23016 is the "usual' build. 23071 is the "fancy" build... And 21864 is the "fast and stable" build."

I personally went with fast and stable.
