hi all, new here and was able to get this awesome rom installed on my diamond, but the problem is that i can't access the internet. I called sprint and they made me do a Profile Update and it doesnt work. it just errors out with a 407 and I even setup the modem connection to dial #777 and that doesnt work neither. what could be wrong?

Flash backed to the sprint Shipped ROM, and then update your profile there. If the internet works (it should), then flash back to energy ROM

Can someone tell me how to move icons around in the start menu? I have read back many pages, and haven't read a word about it.

ok, so have not been able to find this so far. Just flashed to the latest version of energy rom and the first thing I noticed was the data connection always showed on. I used diamond tweaks to correct that but the next issue is it only shows "EV" in the status bar. When using the stock or mighty rom it shows "RA". Is this because i am not receiving rev.a with the rom or the rom doesn't have that display built in. p.s. same problem when using juicyrom.

Tap-and-hold on a start menu icon. You'll be asked if you want to move it to the top.

I thought that there was some greater development since NRG made it a point to mention in the change log from 7/27 to now. It says in 7/27 that icons in the start menu can now be moved by pressing and holding on them, if he was just referring to the same old feature thats been present since day one, i.e. tap and hold to move to top, I don't see why he even mentioned it. Then again, in the newest release he says he upgraded to 23016 but kept the ability to move the icons in the start menu.

I'm confused, is there a 'new' way to organize icons in the start menu or not?

I was psyched when I saw worldcard in the photos, so I downloaded and installed this rom. I LIKE IT, thanks for the hard work that obviously went into this. But, is there a way to make worldcard work? That one program is reason for me to choose a rom - believe it or not. I noticed DIAM500 as the device id, and if memory serves me correctly, it has to say raph800. i guess it was included in tihs rom for the diamond by mistake, but I'm hoping for a fix. Anyone???

theToucan- thank you for clarifying. The tap and hold does not work for me on this ROM. When I press and hold an icon it simply brings up the option to 'move to top' that's it. Ah well I guess, great ROM anyways.

With the old tap and hold option to move to top, you could take any icon from any folder and place it in the main start menu simply by pressing 'move to top.' However, If you want to manually move an icon out of a folder, go to Windows>Start Menu>Programs: and move around shortcuts in the folders.

Ev means EVDO Rev. A. 1x is normal slow data

milin - are you using the version released today? because tapping and holding to move around the icons works perfectly fine on my end

The guy that made the Titanium Weather program (and other 6.5 plugins), also has a program posted on XDA called reStart that allows you to move the start menu icons around. I've been meaning to try it for a while now. Hope it works out for you.
