get htcmanila edit... edit the nbh file... delete the cabs and istall later if u want after changing the "config.txt" to not look for them, and ofcourse u can erase anything else that u want, like ringtones that you will never use... thats how i got all of my nrg roms to have 85 mb free after flash...
i dont use 2.5 cuz its not perfected yet, but i tired doing the same on it while checking it out, and i got pretty much 30 free after flash... so compared to the 8 after flash that u get without doing so, its good.
just keep in mind that u will need to modify config.txt and if u remove widgets u need also to edit provxml file...

It was just the two hefty ones located in the "Rings" folder - Sony and another one.
