Re: 6/9/09 - ROM | Kitchen | SYS - WM 6.5 21731,21806 - Generic | All Carriers -

Oops... I never checked back in about that. I don't see any huge differences really - its running a little smoother and memory usage is still getting better with each new version. I've been running it for 2 days now? I haven't had to reset my phone yet which is a first. My battery also seems to be lasting a little longer too. Other than that there aren't any neat new toys or anything.

Say, is it normal that WMP eats memory for breakfast? Task manager often reports up to 90MB of memory usage and my phone often soft-resets when it's running.

WMP has been known to eat memory pretty badly in WM 6.5. I've had a reg tweak in there that supposedly limited how mem it would take up but it sounds like its not working...

Well that kinda sucks. I like how it integrates to Titanium, but not how it soft-resets randomly.

Not sure. I'll test out WMP from 21728 from Calku's kitchen and see how that one goes.

WMP from 21728 also bites memory. No fun... ):

When Im running ArcSoft 5.0.20.19 and try to compose a MMS, pictures and text work fine. But when I try to add audio the sound recorder doesnt work. I'm wondering if the sound recorder in 6.5 is broken?

I was using the WLAN button that will turn wi-fi on and off.
I now use a Titanium CComm plugin. Both are attached.

Strange, even using WMP from 6.1, it bites memory. I think I'll try with an altogether different SYS and ROM.
