the only problem i have with this is htc album doesnt allow you to set photo as wallpaper.the only flaw i see..so for me that i like to change it alot i like to use the normal default so i can have that option.....unless someone has a htc album with upload and set as wallpaper options

Thanks.. your CAB has a lot of registry entries in it, but all you really need to do is this:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSPIMG]
"1"="htcalbum.exe"

This opens the picture shown in the tab, and also opens HTC Album when you click on the "All Photos" soft key.

No, don't use zip/postal code for Canadian cities.

To find your code, just use this URL and add your city name after it:

awesome job! i like this route. autorouting to htcalbum.. i tried to do that for mspie ... 1=operaL.exe but it doesn't work

That does work too. The reason I didn't use it tho is because it also changes the link in you start menu for "Pictures and Videos" to open HTC Album instead of windows picture viewer, and you can't set your background from HTC Album. I use Window picture viewer regularly to browse my pics and pic a new background.

Its all personal preference in the end I guess...

Is it just me, or in 21222, you can't tap on the clock/battery (whichever icon is shown) in taskbar? its too close to the htc taskbar.. u can tap on connection icon, signal icon, volume, and taskbar. but not time/battery.

Also, you can still set background of image by just hold -> set today background.

I re-read my post and it sounded rude...sorry. As you said you can press and hold an image in file explorer or in windows picture viewer and then click set as background on the pop-up menu. But in HTC album, there's no such option. Its just a hassle for someone as lazy as me to open and close pics 1 by 1 looking for the one I want to use as a background before setting it (I can't just browse them in HTC Album since it doesn't tell you the image name).

Anyhow, DSI76's method is definitely cleaner so I'll include that in any future releases and just replace the shortcut in the start menu to point directly to pimg.exe instead of getting its setting from the registry. Then my stupid little problem is solved lol.
