That does work too. The reason I didn't use it tho is because it also changes the link in you start menu for "Pictures and Videos" to open HTC Album instead of windows picture viewer, and you can't set your background from HTC Album. I use Window picture viewer regularly to browse my pics and pic a new background.
Its all personal preference in the end I guess...
