I posted about this earlier. There is a trick to getting it to show up correctly in landscape, that involves going back to the default image and then soft resetting. It's a glitch with the background4all.

I am not sure what was wrong with windows media player, but I played a few songs with it and it worked ok for me.

I havent had the problem with WMP freezing yet on 2.4 but it may take some more testing to be sure.

Hey drybonz maybe you can help me out.
When I cook a rom using calcu's 4.7 kitchen using the 21222 SYS I get two problems.
1.) The clock will show in all screen including the home screen unless I uncheck show the clock in all programs from the settings menu. If I do that then of coarse the battery will show in all programs in the title bar. The setup I want and usually the normal setup is battery in the home screen and clock in all the rest.
2.) The highlight for the corner exit X is off by like 2 cm.

Sorry to bother you but I didn't know who else to turn to.
Is there anything I can do to the SYS to fix these things before I cook

This is the wrong place to post about this for a couple of reasons.

1) People reading this thread have come here to read about/discuss other stuff.
2) Posting about this in a thread related to the subject you are posting about will get your questions more exposure with people who are talking about related issues.

The best place to post questions about using the kitchen would be in the kitchen thread.

At a glance it sounds like it is not a sys issue but related to manila options. It's not a bother to me to read your questions but you should put them in a related thread. Post a couple screenshots in the kitchen thread and I will take a look at them. Even if I can't help you, other people using the kitchen will see them and perhaps someone can help.

one question though, is it possible that you upload a version of the rom without TF3D and touchflo? I think that touchflo is messing with the 6.5 kinetic scrolling. for example, in file manager, it does not have that nice smooth scrolling feel and it does not "bounce" when you reach the end of the list...hopefully that made some sense haha

I have those 2 issues as well in your rom but its not that big of a deal

Thanks, I'm glad you aren't having major problems. All I ask is that you read my rom thread. I have already stated multiple times that I have no plans to release more than one version of the rom. Sorry about that. Yes, 6.5 is not yet as fast and smooth as 6.1. I address this in my FAQ in the second post of this thread.

The stuff you quoted from the other post was not even issues about this rom but about building a rom with Calkulin's kitchen so it is definitely weird that you are having those issues as well.

hey Bonz, can I flash from Mighty to Juicy to Groove to Intx to Blackocean to Tersoth to Calcu to RSTG to your rom, or should I flash the shipped rom first? I searched but couldn't get an answer?

OK, after my last reply I felt the need to re-examine this.
1) You are talking about the taskbar clock, right? It's a checkbox in your settings to change this. Yes, it is just a registry setting that wasn't pre-set in the sys. Sorry I thought you were talking about the manila clock.
2) This one I would still need to see a screenshot of what you are talking about.
