Oh and I have a bug to report...

Ever since the WM dialer was implimented on the ROM I have had an issue with the phone not recognizing my contacts on caller ID. Say for instasnce I have a contact in saved as Mom 555-555-5555. When Mom calls I get 555-555-5555 on the caller id but not the pic or contact name or details. It's not all contacs but most of them. I'm still testing but I think it's only recognizing favorite contacts. They seem to come through ok. Now, before I get scolded, I do always flash back to stock and all that. I know it's not shipped but I cant find a shipped cellular south rom. Besides stock has been working till now so I think itas a WM Dialer issue. When I get a chance I'll flash to 3.2 and see if the prob persists with the HTC dialer as default. Just thought I'd let you know.

Oh and I use Rhodium not Titanium so that may make a difference too.

Someone else mentioned this so me but I haven't been able to duplicate it, so if you figure out the specifics let me know.

I did notice that sometimes it takes a few seconds for the contact specifics and picture to come up when there is an incoming call using the WM dialer, but it's just a couple seconds lag.

Anyway, let me know if you have anything solid to report, and thanks for the feedback.

i got this at one point when i used the wm dialer. i cook my own roms so its not specific to this rom. it happened only a few times but i dont use wm dialer anymore.

Yeah I dont think it's the ROM I think it's a WM Dialer/Rhodium conflict. I am pretty certain that if the contact is one of your rhodium favorites it will work properly but otherwise it just shows like an unknown caller with the number. Apparently the Dialer is not accessing the contacts list but the favorites list. (Not very technical but its the only way I know to say it) I'm gonna swith to Titanium today still on 3.1 and see if the problem is rhodium only. I'll upadae when I can.

Ok well I'm still having it and I've had it only with the WM Dialer. It's not just Rhodium it's Titanium as well. I dont know why you're not getting the same results DB.

I dont have anything installed that would affect that. I do have the Touch-InCall Screen Off cab installed but I've had it on every version as well. I'll uninstall it and see if it makes a difference.

EDIT: Ok I uninstalled the Touch-InCall cab and I still get the same results. Some numbers show contact info some dont. After further testing I have found that adding it to Favorites makes no difference and that it happens with both Titanium and Rhodium. I'll flash to 3.3 later today and see if the HTC dialer corrects it.

I'm running the new ported dailer and seems to work flawless with the rhodium and this ROM.

Sweet, I just installed the cab to main memory. Gonna give it a go for a while seems to be working ok for now.

i'm going to try the same. but ~10mb takes a lot out of my prog mem. i hope drybonz can cook it in a future release and have world clock fix like mystery. BUT even w/o this rom is the most stable 6.5 on this forum hands down.
