The basic functions are greatly improved, IMO. Better scrolling, better rendering, better resizing, better landscape mode, nice animations, better bookmark feature/scrolling.

Anyway, I know people don't come here to read my opinions on various software so before I get too far off topic just want to say I am working on it (as well as applying lots of the common Opera tweaks) and you can try it in the next version, guys, or download the cab if you don't want to wait.

good to hear you are working on it. I agree, to me its an overall improvement!

Oh man, sometimes things just don't want to play nice.

Well, I was having a problem with sms messaging not inserting the name from my contacts correctly. you guys told me to flash to shipped, did it. Rebooted, still the same. It worked once I think, clicked on the name after typing in the first few letters. But after that, I have not been able to do it without sms getting hung up at the address window. I can still go to type a message, but it does not send to the right person, it sends it to "1".

Weird, I also reformatted my storage, and cleared, thinking maybe something in my internal card, nope. ever since going to 6.5, having trouble creating a new sms with inserted name from contacts list.

thinking I may have to manually put the number in there from now on instead of picking from a list. weird,

Works fine for me. Just double checked it to make sure.

Possibly something you are installing that is screwing it up? You might want to try clicking on the return button from that field in the new SMS and picking the recipient from your contacts list.

That worked! So no typing in the first few letters of the name and picking from list for me anymore, no big issue.

Need to press enter and pick from the contacts list directly, then pick the right number, it inserts fine..

so if any others are having issues, just have to press enter first, then find the name,

Did you install an alternate keyboard or something? If so, that is probably your issue.
