i myself dont understand how some people think that ## codes "work" when only one or two do... For me i expect all the codes to work just like on the shipped roms.

Are you trying to get ##data#? It's working fine for me. So is ##786#. Are you typing the last "#" because I noticed you didn't type it in your post above. If not it sounds like a user issue.

Search around for a cab. I don't know if there are any floating around. I tested it and don't recommend it in it's current state.

Several bugs... notably mixed up with elements of the WM dialer. Not worth the effort IMO, but you are welcome to pursue it.

Some things you should be aware of:

From Opera:

Opera Turbo in Opera Mobile is still a preview-feature;
Downloads don't work while Opera Turbo is enabled.
Some settings (such as toggle on/off images) do not apply when Opera Turbo is enabled.
Some input method editors are known not to work well with Opera because they do not comply with Microsoft's SIP and/or IME standard. When such an editor is detected by Opera, Opera will use a known (default) input method instead. An exception is EzInput v1.5, where the phone keypad and compact QUERTY, ABC mode doesn't work, but the rest of the modes work fine. We recommend upgrading to EzInput v2.0 to avoid this.
Only support for FlashLite 3.x. No Flash plugin included.

Things I, and other users, have found:

Some pages only display in mobile view.
Passwords aren't remembered when you are in turbo mode.

That being said I still really like it. I'm working on getting the OEM right and I'm gonna get some advice/help on that later, but I will keep you all updated.

good info Bonz. I been reading up on this all day and people are really down on this browser. I prefer to take the glass half filled approach, its not ideal but is right up there with the other browsers in the market. I bet once its modified it will be rocking. I love the turbo mode and if someone can figure how to get downloads working and passwords, game, set, match for me!

also one thing I noticed is fingerkeyboard works great with this browser so thats a positive.
