Titanium Weather 4.2 has proved to be such a headache for me this morning that I am not messing with it any more. Gonna stick with 4.1.5 for the time being.

I have updated the first post with the download link for version 3.1 of the rom.

This is a small update but adds some useful functionality. I have added the CSDevCtrl app, which is an autolocking app (Thanks to Indagroove and JMZ for the tip on this app). I have preconfigured it so that it will run on startup and call the WM lockscreen when you turn your screen off. It has not been buggy at all for me so far. You can, of course, configure it further if you like, or turn it off, through the settings in the system tools folder in the start menu.

Also in the system tools folder you will now find something called "BT icon restore". This is for people who want to use the HTC dialer. I have fixed the bluetooth icon so that if you are using the HTC dialer, and delete the bluetooth notification shortcut in Windows>Startup the bluetooth icon will function perfectly again with the HTC dialer. The "BT icon restore" thing in the system folder will put the shortcut back in the startup folder if you ever want to go back to the WM default dialer again.

The point of all this is to give you more options.

Also, I gave up on the Titanium Weather 4.2. It was giving me fits, and honestly, when I tried it I could see almost no difference between it and the 4.1.5 version we are using, except maybe the options menu looks different.

It needs to be skinned and honestly by the time that happens there will probably be a new manila available with all the features that were depending on the development of this phone canvas.

So... probably not in the next rom, but it is on the horizon so stay tuned, true believers.

Start Menu > Settings > System > Processor > uncheck the on suspend box and it won't happen again

*edit* So make use of that nice new lock screen. I press my "lock" soft key any time I am done using the phone so that I get the most out of these features. I am actually loving it really.

Well always change my left softkey to "Phone". I guess I'll have to update to 3.1 to make use of the auto lock.

BTW, I've had the hard freeze bug while listening to music in 2.9 and 3.0 as well. If I'm not mistaken there was a cab fix for this in a previous version. I'm not running any 3rd party audio cabs either.
**Edit** just saw the fix posted above, I'll try that and see how it works.

And finally I'm not sure what I'm running thats so different than the other guys but my battery is not lasting a full day. much less 2, lol. I do have emoze pushing my mail and gsync for my contacts and calendar.

Hi DB,

Thank you for all the work on 3.0 and 3.1. I have a quick question, is there any cab that will restore the HTC volume control instead of the one you have in the ROM. When I disable the current one, it reverts to the Windows Volume control, not HTC.

3.1 downloaded and flashed successfully. Customization took a LONG time (at least 15 minutes)

Yikes! Just when I was happy that it had gotten shorter from 2.7!

On a side note, I'd be super appreciative to someone who could make or point me to a list of Reg export paths from 6.5 that work with Sashimi. For example with 6.1, I exported HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila to Sashimi and it would restore my weather, softkey, and tab customizations. But with 6.5 it does nothing. Several other reg imports no longer work either.
