I skinned the Tachi phone canvas a couple of days ago, and it simply doesn't skin as cleanly as the stock HTC phone canvas. The main issue is that there are a bunch of images that are stuck in dlls (curtain, in-call butons, etc..). Also, the dialer buttons are smaller that the stock diamond HTC dialer, so what's the point really?

Actucally, Bonz, I've been thinking about skinning the HTC dialer for you based on your theme. Is that something that you would like for your rom?

Also, in regards to titanium weather 4.2, I've found that the easiest way to make an oem from the cab, is to do the following:
1. Install the cab to your phone
2. Take the titanium cpr files out of the windows directory, and put them on your PC
3. make an oem from the cab with package creator.
4. remove the cab install specific files fro the package
5. Export your titanium order/active panel registry from your device, and either add it to the package or make a reg cab for first boot.
6. Add the exported titanium.cpr cabs to your oem package.

how would i change the dialer back to the htc orig dialer & also would that affect the wm 6.5 s2a????

Hey, can anyone tell me if it matters what file type you select when exporting a reg file to Sashimi? I've been selcting the default (WinCE) but there are some other options. I have no idea what the difference is but it may be the reason mine arent working.

I looked into cabbing them like stx suggested but I'm still trying to figure this Sashimi thing out too.

What are you using to export? Sashimi has its own export that doesn't prompt for file types (although not all registry entries import succesfully again which is way most of my registry entries are cabbed and then autoinstalled by Sashimi as cabs rather than as registries.)

Actually, gadgetfreak skinned the HTC dialer for me a couple weeks ago and I am embarrased to admit that with all the work I was doing on 3.0 and on the WM dialer I have not taken advantage of that yet!

Thanks for the advice on the Titanium weather. I will try to play with it some more later based on your instructions, but I am frustrated with it for the time being.

Either with Advance Config or look in the system tools folder in the start menu (I prefer Advance Config).

Yes, it will definitely break the WM s2a. That is why I did all that work to make the WM dialer functional and prettier.

Export as a .reg file to the Sashimi auto>reg folder. That is the easiest way to auto install reg entries.

Yes, it is awesome. This app works way better than the other auto lockers. I am loving it as well.
