hi there, quick question, not sure if anyone knows. I just installed this rom, and first off it is great, no problems at all installing and using.

But was wondering if there was a way to change he default black highlights on menu items. For instance, if i bring up the email window, and click the menu button, when i click on something it is all black with white text. i have a sprint touch diamond, and on the stock sprint theme on my stock sprint rom, the theme had yellow highlights.

Is there anyway to go back to the yellow highlights or change it to another color, without changing themes?

Unless you know how to modify a theme, or are good at photoshop and reg edits -- no.

Ok, just noticed I cant get on the internet on the phone, ie, opera, and youtube arent working... checked the communication manager and its all on...


any ideas?
only thing i've installed on the rom is a keyboard and the rom itself.

I'm definitely not having this problem. Try toggle the data off and back on in the communication manager. If that doesn't work try a soft-reset.

but seriously though, i am pretty sure i could do it, just wondering which file to modify. is there a file thats black and i could just change hue to another coor and overrght back to windows folder?

and please dont hit me with the "search box is there for a reason", lol.

Extract the .tsk to your desktop, and open it with wince cabmanager. Then look at the reg entries, and find out which menu bar files the .tsk is pointing to. Once you have that figured out, extract those files and modify with gimp or photoshop and rewrite. Lastly modify the color rgu setting in the .tsk to the hex color code you want. Then return the .tsk to windows, reselect the theme in today settings.

Easy (not).

yes, try this. start>settings>system>update profile. if it doesn't work the first time, try it again. this should reset your data.

I would do a search in the 'Software' forum. I think I remember seeing something in the Touchflo section about changing the highlight colors.
