Hey,

Regarding signal being weak. the new 6.5 signal bar seems to show less bars but I don't think this has any effect. there is a cab floating around that will revert this signal icons back to the original. Let me know if you want it.

I miss calls, when someone calls me since I have no signal, the caller goes straight to voicemail.
My rado version is: 1.00.00F

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a few issues....

1) Something weird with my phone: when someone calls me, keypad opens and new window with a title " Phone - Incoming" and white backround flashes in front of a keypad and then ir goes back to regular keypad and I have a choice to ignore or answer the call

2) My signal seems week and I do not have service in some areas (New York). Does anyone else is experiencing this problem?

1. Are you running a theme other than what came with the rom? That issue is fixed in my themes, as it is a registry issue that accompanies the themes and .tsk files. You must be running a theme that you installed externally.

2. If you're running that radio, then you didn't flash to the ship rom as suggested in the first post. Do that, then back to grooveROM.

Good point. I don't really pay much attention to signal bars these days (unless there's 1 bar or less), since I don't really think they mean that much.

1) I just installed Disable HTC Phone Skin but I can't uninstall it, it's not in add remove programs. How can I go back to your theme? I would like to change the backround on the dialer, so I would need to change a skin after I change a theme? Sorry for stupid questions.

2) I just found a radio forum, I'll try that before I reflash

Thanks for the heads up. I'll fix that uninstall issue next build. You can prolly uninstall by attempting to reinstall, then it will ask you is you want to remove previous versions, say yes. It should then uninstall. Just quit after that.

If that doesn't work, you can get the deault dialer back with advanced configuration in start>settings, and choose enable phone skin.

Changing the background on the WM dialer is easy, just 2 files to change. The HTC one is not so easy, but doable if you know photoshop. Look a few posts back for the phone template thread that I linked to.

I do have a few HTC Dialer skins linked to in the first post as well.

Re: [060109] grooveROM 5 - CE OS 5.2.21725 (Build 21725.5.0.2) - [ROM and Kitchen]

Minor Update:

Quote:
**UPDATE [060109]:
- Changed Opera version to 15613
(w/ working flash -- must enable "plugins" in Opera settings)
- Fixed uninstall bug in "Disable HTC Phone Skin" cab
I'm updating the kitchen too, which will have both Opera Builds (15613 and 16453) to choose from.

I'm having problems reading attachments in the mail program... I can download the attachment, ie mp3 or pdf but I get an error when I try to launch it. Problem appears to be specific to email reader, as when I launch it from a gmail over Opera session, it works. Believe this is over several of the last releases.

Keep in mind that the highlights cabs will only work with ultralite.tsk or R&R.tsk.

How can you use PIE? It's so slow and sloppy IMO. I use firefox too.

i like how it formats on the screen because when i use opera and others the stupid zoom features zoom insteads of selecting the link i want to click on. even in the 6.5 mobile roms as well

i do like firefox for mobile but 25mb of space come on,
