Thanks for all of you hard work.

*edit* for the gibberish fix above you also have to have total commander because file explorer won't let you copy those files from the fix over to the windows directory.

Sounds like you got the fix all figured out.

Thanks so much for the donation -- it is quite appreciated!

The only thing that sucks for the WM (IMO) is that when you are not on the lock screen, it just has a pop up box w/ the name and stuff and 2 soft key's to answer/ignore...kinda ugly lol. the S2A is soo nice, since it has 3 buttons, answer, ignore, and mute. I really do like the WM lock screen one though, except it has only 2 fuctions, answer or ignore (which is basically like the mute), and no real ignore fuction like the S2A.

(just summarizing all this b/c I want to make sure what I understand actually is right lol).
These days I'm using the HTC one which is why it's default. I never really lock my phone, and the HTC one is nicer overall. I do like to switch it up ,and run the wm 6.5 one from time to time..

That didn't really make much sense did it? Sorry, I gotta fix that post, it was a cut and paste job from an older post. You did what I should have said. I should prolly include an operator package for other operators too in the future. The kitchen will be better on the next build. Bear with me.

Thanks guys, I'll will keep messing with it. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. A couple things are buggy I think, if I can't get it to work right I'll re-flash and do the shipped rom thing.

The flash went fine, but at first glance it seems like a step back as far as productivity.

This is just what comes to mind after messing with it for 30min, and what I meant by "can't get anything done quickly". So far WM6.5 doesn't make sense to me so far, compared to 6.1 with manila.
I agree with just about all of that. I like WM6.5, I just don't like it's home screen. It just seems less productive and like it has less functionality than TF3D.

Inda - thanks for your help yesterday in this thread and Calk's. I think i have managed to get everything sorted out, and am re-flashing now with updated dialer re-skinned.

I'll post some screenshots in Calk's thread once i get this set up.

I hadn't even noticed the duplicate activesync icons... but I guess I should ask about that also.
I was referring to the install to BT. I've never used BT explorer... so unless it was somehow opened accidently or some other app opened it... I didn't.

inda- another question that has probably been asked... when I use the normal Calk kitchen, my ROMs have the normal splash screens. When I use yours, one of the splashes is your GrooveROM5 splash. I'd like to be able to put my own custom ROM splash screen there. #1 Do you have a problem with that? (If you do, I'll just leave it there. No biggie.) #2 [if the answer to #1 is no] Can you tell me what files to replace or how to do it?

Do whatever you want with my kitchen, so long as you credit me for my work.

You can just replace the startup animation package to get rid of the groove animation.

Ok, this is my first custom rom and I'm really enjoying it, but really think titanium is almost as annoying as tf3d. What I really liked as the today screen on my 6.1 Diamond was the BigHTCHOME.cab which made it look like an greatly improved vogue. After all the work I've spent customizing, I'm almost afraid to try it on 6.5 I could do most things with one touch of a button! Productivity at it best!!! do you think it will work on 6.5 (if I turn titanium off of course)?

Also, do you think my SPB backup works on 6.5? It runs, even looks pretty good when I expand the backup file, but do you think it gets everything and will be useful to restore if I do mess things up? I always have activesync for contacts, but I hate rebuilding all my email accounts and phone faves, and preferences, etc.

I do love all the programs out there on this rom! I thought about going simple rom, but it didn't look like it had voice command and I can't live without that!

Thanx Groove!!!! Great work!!!!! It inspired me to download the whole kitchen and check it out!!!! Thanx

If anyone want to try what I'm talking about, this is where someone pointed me long ago (in phone years)
