question:

1. How can I get my web browser to go into landscape when I turn the phone on its side?

Which browser? If you're talking about Opera, it should do it automatically. if you're talking about Internet Explorer, you'll need to install Gyrator. I had that in an earlier build, but it was causing major performance issues, so I pulled it out.

Even Telus!
Any ETA on the Telus ROM? Thx.

I'm working on a Telus-derived Manila for Blue ROM. It will be the "right" Manila for Telus and won't have any Sprint artifacts like the current Telus ROM does. It will take some time however, as I'm also working on some changes that will reduce storage usage and increase performance. Hopefully, I'll have a dedicated Telus build with all of these changes sometime this weekend.

Sorry for the delay.

Can I use the Sprint ROM even if I'm with Telus?

If you're asking if it will hurt anything, then the answer is no. As to whether or not everything will work right, I'm not sure. You may need to manually configure your data connection to Telus specs to get a connection.

Worse case scenario is, you have to flash back to a Telus-specific ROM.

Sorry I haven't gotten the Telus version up. I had been having issues with my Alpha builds of 1.9, and I didn't get to spend the time on the Telus version. Now that v1.9 is final, I should get around to a Telus ROM soon.

Meanwhile, give the Sprint version a shot and let me know how it goes. Also, use the 1.9 link in my signature. It's a million times better than 1.7.

THANKS, this is precisely why I want to try it: I don't want the TELUS data connection. I use WiFi and not data; when I flashed the last time, I forgot to disconnect Telus Data and got dinged $140 for pay-per-use before I realized that the data connection was active and needed to be disconnected.

I will give it a try and report back.

So far, so good. Only prog that won't run in Diamond 3D Config. Reports an error. removed re-intsalled, same thing.

OK, solved this problem by going into reg edit and upping touch panel pressure to 245 (must be DWord value)
