I'm going to flash the Telus version off Blue, thanks. As for the data connection, Sprint's is the same as Telus and I connected with the Sprint ROM. They must use the same network.

I know that OMJ works off his own unique kitchen. Have you tried a Calcu ROM, as my ROM is based of his kitchen. If you don't have the problem with his, then I will know there's something in min that's causing it.

Thanks for the info. No I haven't tried Calcu; the choices are confusing, I wouldn't know which to download.

I flashed the Telus ROM and the problem persisits without my installing any additional progs.

OK, installed Calcu 4.1. Sprint ROM; no prblems with Start menu! Everything works well. Prefer the Blue GUI, though. One thing that's different with Clacu's ROM from all the others: the wallpaper I choose installs on ALL pages. I want to limit it to the Today page; can it be done?

I can't find it there. Another way is to use registry editor to go to HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila and delete the values on HomeLSKPath and HomeLSKText
That will force it back to the default Phone

Okay, now we're getting somewhere! I think this may have to do with the fact that I don't cook Enlarge Start Menu or Large Title Bar into my ROMs. So, I'm cooking you one now that does have these applications in hopes that it solves your problem.
