Most of the issues we were seeing are fixed in Calcu's 3.7.1 Kitchen. I was kind of reluctant to build on 3.8 because there have been some problems reported, so I stayed with 3.7.1.

And yes, this ROM does retain Calc's Arcsoft, and I've also added Sprint Picture messaging.

Hey, wheres the Telus link?? I wanna try this out, currently on Juicy 4.4, and I wanna try a new ROM, as it looks as if it will be a while before his next release on the diamond, I get bored not flashing every week!

LOL! That's how I got started in this...I couldn't handle not flashing every week or so.

I'm uploading the Telus ROM now. It's about 10 minutes from being complete. I've loaded it onto my Sprint Diamond, and it may actually be slightly more responsive than the Sprint version.

The other thing I noticed in running this is, the Sprint TV tab still appears in Manila. This is due to the fact that the custom blue interface was built on a Sprint Manila folder. In my next build, I'll create the blue Manila from scratch from a Telus folder.

Hopefully, I'll get to that this weekend.

Yes, it's safe to tether with this ROM.

Go figure, a few minutes into it programs started disappearing and now I'm having this issue again http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=51298&page=2 I cannot get past the preparing your device for first use screen, even after multiple hard and soft resets. Any ideas? Thanks!

That sounds like one of the Calcu's kitchen bugs, as my ROM is based on his kitchen.

You need to get into triggered bootloader mode (see http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=40490 for an explanation of this), flash a non-Calcu-based ROM (stock ROM, Juicy ROM, OMJ, etc.), then you can flash back to Blue ROM. Apparently, there's some sort of intermittent stability issue in that kitchen that causes this issue. I have not seen it on mine, but in following Calcu's thread, this problem has occasionally appeared.
