Re: [01-18-09] nTT ROM v1.1D [Sprint, UC, GSen Rotate, Haptic Feedback] [CE OS 5.2.21

Glad you liked it! Started working on a pretty major overhaul of my OEM folders to get the bugs that have been discussed in the past 2-3 pages fixed.

personally i'm keeping my stalker's eye out for your next release.

I still have this as my current rom despite my youtube issues, of all the roms i've tried this is the one i least modify after flashing.

Re: [01-18-09] nTT ROM v1.1D [Sprint, UC, GSen Rotate, Haptic Feedback] [CE OS 5.2.21

Well I've been getting lazy working on my ROM this past week. Its been hell between work and finals week of my FINAL Management of Information Systems trimester for my bachelor's degree (sarcastic hooray here!, just finishing this to have the diploma, been an IT admin for over 7 years).

I will probably be moving to the 20764 SYS from the Sprint Leaked ROM as it seems there are issues with the 21109 SYS regarding YouTube playback and voice command and I'm almost entirely re-doing my OEM folder as it's become a massive frankenstein. I'd like a few "beta-testers" once I'm done with this major update so that I can put the next release through its pases before releasing it. Don't want to keep releasing slightly botched up ROMs, PM me if you can lend me your services.

V2.0D Beta ready for testing!

Alright, nTT v2.0D Beta is ready for testing. Please PM me if your interested in testing the beta version before I post it here and I'll send you the d/l link. Its still not uploaded but will be ready in about 2 hours.

Change Log:
Code:
v2.0D Beta (in development):

[+] - Changed to custom nTT 20764 XIP & SYS Build based on Sprint Leaked ROM.
[+] - Major general reconstruction of OEM folders.
[+] - Reconstructed OEMDRIVERS folder.
[+] - 5% battery driver (1% battery driver to unprecise, gave bad impression on battery life)
[+] - Reorganize entire Start Menu (thanks to RSTG's tutorial) (still working with this, Beta still very disorganized due to OEM changes).
[-] - Ringtone Bug is hopefully completely eliminated.
[-] - VOIP (in conjuction with new Build and OEMs fixed YouTube, I hope!).
[-] - Inbox Extensibility (removes Delete All/Mark All as Read from Messaging, this was known to cause a few problems by other chefs).

Re: [02-01-09] nTT ROM v2.0D [Sprint, UC, GSen Rotate, Haptic Feedback] [CE OS 5.2.20

Rom looks good so far!

couple things i notice

- The battery indicator will only show 20%. When I click the icon however it shows the correct battery level - which is full green bars.
- When text messaging touchpal no longer brings up people's names as you type them. Switching to the stock diamond keyboard will bring up people's names. I had this problem with several other roms as well, so I think it may be related to the build of OS?
- Last thing is cosmetic, but i figure I'll mention it. when selecting "all programs" in touchflo, several programs appear multiple times on the list, eg. audio booster, bluetooth explorer etc. I'm pretty sure this is simply because of how you have the programs arranged in the folders - audiobooster appears in two different folders, thus appears twice on the touchflo list. No big deal.

Otherwise I haven't noticed any lockups, freezes etc. everything seems smooth. Youtube, internet etc is working well. I've only been using it briefly but so far so good, other than the battery indicator, and the text message thing (touchpal is my preferred keyboard so for me its inconvenient that names dont pop up).

imo nearly perfect rom nTT. can't offer any suggestions for fixes, but if you manage to find something for the few things I mentioned, then it would be the perfect rom for me .

Heh, yeah the faulty bat driver slipped into the beta I uploaded in a hurry. As for the multiple icons when you go to All Programs its related to the messyness in the Start Menu wich I'm taking my time with. I had a 5 hour stretch last night with the ROM to get the beta out. Thanks for the updates Al Haqq. Keep hamering on it, install programs, test YouTube, etc etc...

Oh yeah, btw, I also noticed I forgot to add SprintTV to my new OEM folders so its not in there in the Beta but it will be in the final release.

Thanks for considering it at that level. I still feel like all my releases have been a bit botched up. I'm a little OCD like that, hence why I'm taking the beta testing approach for v2.0D. I will do everything in my power to have v2.0D out by the weekend. A full week of tweaking and testing from me and the beta testers will surely help me iron out any kinks.

Re: [02-01-09] nTT ROM v2.0D [Sprint, UC, GSen Rotate, Haptic Feedback] [CE OS 5.2.20

Well beta testers have been reporting excellent performance and stability with v2.0D and the few small issues with it have been taken care of already. Keep your eyes peeled as I'll be doing the finishing touches between today and tomorrow to get this up by the weekend as promised. All that I'm missing now after certifing that every major bug has been taken care off is to switch out my phone canvas for a proper, working Slide 2 Answer OEM which I'll do today and test to make sure the ringer bug and call-pickup delays and in-call buttons all work fine.
