i just bought spb mobile shell 2.1

and now touchflo3d works so smooth i can't believe its the same phone

i don't know if i should be happy or sad...?

I found my fist problem. when i received 2 texts at the same time my phone vibrated then stayed stuck on vibration and wouldn't stop at all. I had to restart the phone.

I still use SPB, much more efficient.

Juicy, dont know if you noticed this, but the new version of opera defaults to set the cache at 20megs. Just a heads up before you cook it into 4.3.

i don't see this bug mentioned but when texting, the first word is fake. this was an issue with earlier roms as well. im currently on 4.2. thanks again juicy

Me too I had this problem on 4.2, I can't tell if it was because I received a call or a text message. I was working and did not check my phone for 2 hours, when I took my diamond it was already vibrating non-stop. I had to soft-reset the phone.

At that time I was on Sprint 1.03 radio, now I'm on telus 1.04 and since then, I have not encoutered this bug.

I see you guys have been talking about changing your radios,..
I read some where that after you UPgrade your radio, you can't DOWNgrade it. Saying that even if the version number changes you still always have the newer radio... It was awhile ago I read that... is there any truth in it? I was thinking about upgrading my radio in hopes of getting better signal. Not even sure if I can, as I haven't looked into it yet.
What radios do you guys like and why?
Does your ROM matter with what radio you are using?
put 3.9 on now to test out and 4.2 on later to complair...

I can't comment on whether or not you can downgrade your radio (can't imagine that you wouldn't be able to), but I updated to the Verizon radio a while back and haven't had trouble with it. I felt as though I got better signal/performance out of my phone than with the original Sprint radio.
