put 3.9 on now to test out and 4.2 on later to complair...
I can't comment on whether or not you can downgrade your radio (can't imagine that you wouldn't be able to), but I updated to the Verizon radio a while back and haven't had trouble with it. I felt as though I got better signal/performance out of my phone than with the original Sprint radio.
