Re: [12-24-08] Juicy ROM 4.4 [SYS OS 5.2.20764 Build 20764.1.4.3] [UC]
I'm using Juicy 4.4 right now and I'm not sure how long this bug has existed and/or if it's only me, but when i go to Settings>Input>Options and then change "Default zoom level for writing/typing" to 75% (for smaller font sizes in text messages, contacts list, etc.) nothing changes. Even after resetting. Is this a bug or am i doing something wrong? Juicy, do you think you would look into this? You roms have always been great for me, i only ran into this one problem recently when i wanted to change the font size.

Okay, installed this rom yesterday, and everything seems smoother, faster. Anyway I have had a few problems.
1. My comp could no longer see my 4 gig of memory. Fixed that with a htc hotfix (thanks dan-vogue-titan). 2. My music, which is in folders Internal Storage/Music/Artist/Album, cannot be seen by the main tf3d music tab, though when i got to library i see it. The TF3D tab will also not play the one mp3 that is there. WMP plays them just fine. Edit- Just reinstalled sync center, and am gonna see if that helps. 3. I am getting only 2 bars at most. Did flashing this rom change the radio, or is the radio the same stock Sprint one? 4. I know this question doesn't belong here, but where is the latest official Sprint TV cab? Edit 2- I am gonna install groove's rom, see how that works out. Hope I don't become addicted to this flashing thing. Last edited by CupofDice; 01-01-2009 at 10:52 AM. |

Is this really necessary? I have no problem sharing internet via bluetooth. I am using Juicy 4.4, which has the extension key removed already.

Re: [12-24-08] Juicy ROM 4.4 [SYS OS 5.2.20764 Build 20764.1.4.3] [UC]
Just a brief update about that Gmail app that I asked about a few days ago:
I got it installed and working. It's pretty awesome, as I expected. I can search all my thousands of archived emails, etc. I happily deleted the IMAP-d account I had set up before. I had to install the Esmertec JVM. It appears that Juicy planned to add that to version 4.2 of the ROM, but it looks like that never happened. Anybody know what the story is there? |

Is Juicy no longer developing for the Diamond now that he is playing with the Pro. Just curious.

That's possible.
I went back to 3.9 after trying 4.3 and 4.4 and I'm much happier for it. I think 3.9 is where I'm going to stay. |

I will continue to develop for both, but I am taking a well deserved break right now from releasing things... I will post new roms for both once I get some bugs and new features fixed

Re: [12-24-08] Juicy ROM 4.4 [SYS OS 5.2.20764 Build 20764.1.4.3] [UC]
I have a weird issue that hopefully someone is seeing. I installed a game folder link for my program icons in TF3D found here: http://wmpoweruser.com/?p=804
Since 4.4 it doesn't work properly. It will open the game folder once but after I exit the folder or run a game, clicking it later on does not open the folder until I soft reset. Not sure if it's the rom but I haven't changed anything at all except roms. It worked fine from 4.3 and earlier. |
