See if this gives you what you want. It includes the Blue Drop background too. The bars are semi-transparent so depending on your background image, it may not show as true black, but on all the menus it will.
Thanks so much for making that cab for me, but it didn't work quite right. After installation and soft reset, it looked like it was what I wanted, but I don't use the blue drop background, and after I changed it to my custom wallpaper, the blue drop would still show up as the background in the start menu, if that makes any sense.

That does make sense. The cab would have set both the today screen and start menu with that background. I'm not sure why changing the background wouldn't also change the start menu.

Other option would be to post you background and i can make a fresh cab. But i'm about to head out for the day, so it would have to wait until tomorrow. But i'll see if i can figure out what's going on.

Again, I can't thank you enough for helping me out, but I figured out how to do it with Registry edits by comparing the two themes. I'm sure I'll regret not coming up with an easily installable way to do it when the next kitchen drops, but for now, I'm satisfied.
Really, though, thanks again!

You most likely want the third option (Calkulins Diamond 21046 ROM). The 21232 ROMS are 6.5. As far as the Clean option, that just has very few applications and extras installed, if I understand things correctly.

Those registry edits did put the clock in the taskbar, but I still don't get "anything" when I click on the clock.

I'm fairly confident that he's cooking that into his ROM releases anymore, but you may want to wait and let someone who's used it answer. I've only ever used his Kitchen to make my own ROMs.
Which, by the way, is super easy to use and highly recommended. There's simply no substitute for being able to cook your own ROM with exactly the options you want from the get-go...
