Re: [ May 4 \ 21043(6.1) & 21502(6.5) v4.7 RC ] Calkulin's Kitchen v1.6 & ROMs

Somehow, the post I thought I made is gone. So I'll ask again.
I think I've made a pretty good ROM with the 21502 kitchen- no Manila. But I find that I still have the problem with the notification popup "flashing" when a call first comes in at the same time as S2A is appearing. With Calkulin's ROM, I only got the popup (to be honest, I don't remember if S2A was even there).
Is there a way to get S2A without the jerky popup?

This was built in the 21043(6.1) kitchen.
do you have a youtube folder in internal storage? try deleting it and trying again.

His rom is really frugal and heavily compressed. But, I figured calc would have a new kitchen soon and his sys/rom combo is likely to be more stable IMHO.

Calcu does have his 21231 kitchen on the way, so that's good.

The sys/xip that I linked to isn't compressed at all, and can easily be used with an existing Calcu kitchen. His rom does have a compressed and uncopmpressed version, but that has nothing to do with the SYS he posted. I'm using it, and it is very stable and all elements work, including Opera and Youtube (which have been issues with some 6.5 builds in the past).

You were saying that you needed a new challenge, so here's what I'll suggest.. Learn to port a sys/xip -- it's really not that hard. I'll help you, if you want.
