Haven't seen Calkulin on here for a week. Anybody heard from him? Hope he is ok. Probably just been busy.

This is something I haven't seen.
I tried changing the background and I got this.
So I changed it back to what it was and after a soft reset, I still get this.
Anyone?

That could be a problem with your theme. I had that issue briefly with the start menu when I was trying to get my theme right.

I tried G-Alarm and see those options, but is there a way to get similar options with a calendar reminder? With the stock Sprint Rom I'm able to snooze calendar reminders for several minutes to several weeks. With 4.7 TP2, you only get one option, "snooze". Is there anyway to fix that?

For some reason this would happen whenever i tried to change themes, and only a hard reset would solve it. I finally decided to cook the theme i wanted in as the default in the SYS folder.

Don't know what causes, but have definitely seen it before.

Hmmm. I didn't install any custom themes- I just tried using one of the ones that the ROM had included. Ended up hard resetting and resetting this up. I like the water-drop them, I was just checking it out.

Now things are looking a little better. I just discovered a little glitch... in Settings;System, there are a few icons that are non-reactive. The important one (for me) is Long press end key. Nothing happens. I don't know if this is normal, but when I tap-hold, the only menu option is Move to Top. Same for all of them. On the Start menu as well. On the DryBonz ROM, I had the option to Move to Top or Move Down. And all icons worked.

Also just discovered that when I'm entering text using the default SIP and XT9, when I try to enter a new word for the "dictionary", it used to automatically switch to ABC mode. Now, it won't switch out of XT9. Kind of useless.

Another SIP issue. When I'm trying to enter a new appoointment (using PI8 in screenshot) the SIP is up a good bit farther than it should be. Tapping the area below the SIP and above the bottom bar gets me a warning beep, but no reaction onscreen. Is this a ROM issue or something to do with PI8?------- Interesting. It only happens occasionally. If I change the SIP, the problem goes away.

I agree - it didn't happen with any custom themes, it happened with themes that were included in the standard ROM. It must have something to do with the way 6.5 switches themes that gets screwed up. I wish i could tell you more, but it baffled me.

As for icons - all of my settings icons work. Just checked Long-press end key, and it works just fine. But when i press and hold, the only option i get is move to the top, but I think it's always been that way.

Hey guys, I built a ROM in the new kitchen about a week ago and havent found a single problem with it till today. I cant get youtube player to work at all, it just says cannot play file. Iv tried the high quality and low quality and deleted the youtube folder from my storage card. Is there anything else I can try? Iv also soft reset several times.
This was built in the 21043(6.1) kitchen.

Wow, this thread has gone 20 hours without a post. I can remember such a short time ago when there would be 10 pages or more per day.

I know!! Goes to show you how well calc's kitchens and roms hold up! I actually flashed a couple of other roms (no name dropping) in the past day or two, but rebuilt calc's 6.5'er today. Nothing like his kitchens!

Nevertheless, we do need a new kitchen challenge!! Come on with it calcu!
