It's like a shortcut, it creates an icon in your settings that you can click on and it turns the data off on your phone.

Installs a utility in System Tools folder that allows you to disable data connections. Good for saving on roaming charges or if you have a capped data plan.

No, it's not in the comm manager. Nodata is a program that stops all data on your phone. You can find the shortcut to it in Programs->System Tools when you cook it into your ROM. You can then shut off PAM and you phones data connection (ie Sprint) individually. It will stay off regardless of what your comm manager says until you use the program to enable data again, from what I remember

No, the data connection will still be in the comm manager whether you check no data or not - checking it will just add another option in settings on your phone to turn off the data as well... kind of redundant i think but people do like to use it.
