So, are you saying that your oem base is from somewhere other than a Calcu kitchen? If so, where from. I believe that Calcu removed some elements of the XIP and puts them in an oem, so if you aren't using one of his bases, you may get a non booter. I'm sure Calcu can shed more light on this than I.

Trial and error.. you may have to try adding your custom OEMs one at a time.

At least then you can find the offending OEM

edit: or listen to indagroove ..Something gives me the feeling he knows his way around a kitchen

i use a kitchen i found from here, a thread by rstoyguy. im really not sure who made the kitchen, ive just always used it. the way i got my oem base is from decompiling the shipped alltel rom, and moving from there.

ive tried pm'ing calcu twice about it, once about a month or so ago and then about 5 or 6 days ago. i havent heard back. ive also asked mightymike a couple of time, as i know he uses calc's kitchen for his roms, but i havent heard back from him either.

that is the process i went through when i first started adding in additional oems. by now, im positive of what is required in an oem, and i know all of the ones ive added work- since they work in my other kitchen.

---

im pretty sure it has to be something missing from the oemapps, drivers, misc, pkg, etc etc folders. im not sure what though. ive tried windiff'ing my oem base to other directories, beyond compare also. just cant figure it out!

Combining two kitchens like that is not going to be a "drop it in and click a button" process. You are going to have to sort through some stuff and weed out a few things. It will probably take some time, and most likely no one else is going to want to do this for you. You will just have to poke around and figure out what you can keep and what is redundant.

Now if you are just wanting to port a couple specific OEMs over to Calc's kitchen and you can let us know specifically what you are having problems with, I'm sure someone can offer some advice.

Any one know how to change the green color in the enhanced notification manager to match the WM 6.5 blue?
